Dead Dog Found in front of West Side Restaurant

CORPUS CHRISTI - A smelly rotting animal didn't exactly help the pleasant eating environment a Westside restaurant was trying to create. Making matters worse they weren't getting any help cleaning it up from the city department they thought was responsible for it.

Aransas Pass Mother Learns Son Amongst Rescuers in Oklahoma

ARANSAS PASS - A woman in Aransas pass was frantic because she couldn't contact her son who lives in Oklahoma City. She finally reached him and is proud to hear that he spent some time rescuing survivors.

I-37 Remains Closed for Tanker Truck Crash Cleanup

CORPUS CHRISTI - Traffic is still being diverted away from I-37 at the Tancahua overpass due to an overturned propane tanker. The truck crashed just after making the curve from Highway 181 to I-37. Fortunately there was no leak of the tanker's contents.

Phone Service Outage in Aransas Pass

ARANSAS PASS - The Aransas Pass Police Department says Verizon phone service not working in the community. The outage is also affecting cell phone service.
All calls to 911 from the area will be routed to the Portland Police Department then forwarded to the Aransas Pass Police Department through other methods.
There's no word on when phone service will be restored.
