Overnight Shooting Death Believed to be Suicide

CORPUS CHRISTI - Police believe the shooting death of a man overnight was suicide.

It happened in the 3600 block of Staples at Stirman just after 11:00pm Thursday.

Police say someone called them and said they saw a man stumble and fall to the ground.

When emergency crews arrived they found a 63 year old man who had been shot in the chest.

Paramedics took him to the hospital where he later died.

His identity has not been released.
