Man Shot in Chest at Gaslight Apartments

Guajardo Accused of Shooting Stepfather - KZTV

CORPUS CHRISTI- One man is in police custody after shooting another man in the chest.

The shooting happened just after midnight on Wednesday morning at the Gaslight Apartments on Kostoryz.

Police say 20-year-old Aaron Jovan Guajardo was in a fight with his 37-year-old stepfather before he allegedly shot the older man in the chest.

The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Police say they did find a gun at the scene.

Guajardo is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
