Overnight Car Crash Kills Woman

CORPUS CHRISTI - A woman is dead after flipping her car multiple times.

The car accident happened at the intersection of South Port Ave. and Morgan Ave just after 1:30am.

Witnesses told police the 63-year-old woman was speeding south bound on Morgan Ave., and flipped her car several times. It landed in Bonilla Plaza.

At this time, it is not certain how many times the car rolled over.

In the process, the car hit a fire hydrant, a tree, and a light pole.

The woman was not wearing a seatbelt, and she was partially ejected from her car.

Police are still looking into the crash.
