CORPUS CHRISTI - Most of the Coastal Bend experienced overcast skies and some drizzle this afternoon with the moderate and heavier rainfall staying out in the Gulf of Mexico and to our north near the Houston metro. There is some gradual clearing that is starting to take place out towards our west near Cotulla and up towards San Antonio and that will continue to spread eastward later this evening and on into tomorrow.
Tonight, look for partly cloudy skies with clouds beginning to move out and rain/drizzle coming to an end. Temperatures will fall in the mid -40s with winds out of the north-northwest around 5-10mph.
Sunday, some sunshine will return to South Texas with partly cloudy skies expected over the area with warmer temperatures in the mid-60s and winds out of the north-northeast around 5-15mph.
We will quickly cloud back up early Monday as another storm system approaches from the west and will give way to scattered thunderstorms, some strong, in the area beginning Wednesday night, Tuesday, and late Tuesday night.

By Wednesday, temperatures will have rebounded into the 70s and skies will begin to clear out with some more sunshine in the forecast on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday.
Have a great weekend!
