CORPUS CHRISTI - The former owner of Two Georges Seafood Restaurant are finally on their way to Nueces County to face charges for theft. We're told they're being moved to the Nueces County jail this afternoon.
Jim and Michelle Ovecka were most recently arrested in San Antonio on charges they stole close to $200,000 from customers' credit cards.
Police say the couple transferred money from a special credit card account into two banks accounts before withdrawing large sums of money.
The investigation started in October 2011, but it wasn't until February of this year that U.S. Marshals found the couple living in a sprawling mobile home park in Tucson, Arizona.
A couple weeks after that arrest they were let out on bond even though Nueces County considered them to be fugitives.
The original owner of the restaurant has since reopened the business under a new name.
