CORPUS CHRISTI- Strong winds continue to prevent any significant rain from occurring in the Coastal Bend. The surface winds do decrease significantly by Thursday night lasting thru the weekend. As the winds come down our lows will be less and more seasonal while our highs will be hotter. We will also see a few isolated showers but not until Friday.
Tonight skies will become cloudy staying rather windy sticky and very warm with a low near 80.
Wednesday we will have a lot of winds with gusts around 35 mph a mix of clouds and sunshine only a lonely shower still very hot and humid with a high of 96.
Wednesday night will also be very warm and stuffy with a low 79.
Thursday expect considerable sunshine stifling heat and a little less wind with a high again of 96.
The heat index tops out between 100 and 106 each day. Make sure your pets have plenty of water.
