Osborn Pleads Not Guilty to Killing Pedestrian on Beach

CORPUS CHRISTI - A man accused of causing a deadly accident on the beach was in court this morning to plead not guilty to intoxication manslaughter.

Dahlton Osborn, 19, is accused of hitting a 25-year-old woman and 41-year-old Adam Reed as they walked near Zahn Road in January.

Reed was pronounced dead at the hospital while the woman suffered serious leg injuries.

Officers in Port Aransas arrested Osborn after an alert was sent out to all law enforcement in the area.

Osborn is still being held in the Nueces County Jail without bond on charges of intoxication manslaughter, intoxication assault, and causing an accident involving serious injuriy or death.

His trial is scheduled for July.
