Osborn Charged with Intoxication Manslaughter for Beach Crash

Osborn Accused of Intoxication Manslaughter

CORPUS CHRISTI - 19-year-old Dahlton Osborn faces a charge of intoxication manslaughter for killing a man walking along the beach near Zahn Road on Saturday.

While driving a Dodge Ram, Osborn hit 41-year-old Adam Reed and a 25-year-old woman when he drove into the dunes, according to police.

The man later died at the hospital. The younger woman suffered serious leg injuries.

Port Aransas police stopped Osborn after an alert was sent to all area law enforcement about the truck involved.

Osborn was booked in Nueces County Jail on charges of intoxication manslaughter, intoxication assault, and two counts of causing an accident involving serious injury or death.
