ORANGE GROVE - Students at Orange Grove Intermediate were sent home today with letters to notify their parents about an alleged incident involving a teacher.
The letter from principal Mary Maxey reads, "On the evening of October 8, 2012, I became aware of an allegation against an Intermediate School employee of inappropriate conduct with a child. An investigation is currently under way. In the meantime the employee in question has been placed on paid administrative leave. We take all allegations of this nature very seriously and will work through the situation to ascertain all relevant facts."
There's no comment yet from school officials providing specifics on the matter.
