The "Texas Open Carry" group is at it agian.Today they demonstrated their right to bare arms in Texas. They men met for coffee at a Starbucks on SPID and Staples, for a quick meet and greet before heading out to pick up trash, with their long guns slung across their chests.
The gentlemen we spoke with said they were'nt going to let a little rain slow them down, as they headed southward toward Saratoga, picking up trash along the way. When KRIS 6 News arrived, there were only two members ready to show their support, but as the day went on, other people liked the idea so much, they went home to get their riffles and join in.
The group spent most the day cleaning up the streets, while CCPD Police followed behind while the collected trash. The demonstration was peaceful like the last event they had in March, where they walked in the downtown area, with their riffles to bring awareness to the 2nd Amendment.
Police say the event ended this afternoon, and there were no problems just like the last demonstration.
