One Year Since Holmes Drive Explosion

CORPUS CHRISTI - One year ago, an explosion rocked a southside neighborhood and killed one person.

The explosion happened at 5:30 in the morning on July 12th, 2013 on Holmes Drive. It destroyed three homes and damaged 15 others.

A small gas leak and lit cigarette caused the explosion.

60-year old Bob Farley was killed in that blast. Ryan Conner, who was injured, moved from Corpus Christi to live with family out of state.

The property sits vacant and has a new owner.
