CORPUS CHRISTI - Federal prosecutors say Judge Nelva Gonzales Ramos gave 45-year-old Rene Olivarez of Robstown a 45 year sentence today for his role in a conspiracy to sell cocaine in Kingsville. Olivarez plead guilty to the charge in September.

Back in January 2012, U.S. Marshals and the Kleberg County Sheriff's Office found an elaborate marijuana growing operation inside a home on Avenue B West while looking for a fugitive.

Authorities seized 2.92 kilos of cocaine, 164 marijuana plants and $37,521 in cash.

Olivarez already has three prior convictions for drug trafficking. 32-year-old Daniel Cano was also arrested during the raid. He's already serving a more than 4 year sentence.
