CORPUS CHRISTI - The Medical Examiner says it was unsuccessful in finding family for the man who died in an apparent murder-suicide.
Two weeks ago, the bodies of 81-year-old Charles Delong III and 49-year-old Cheryl Delong were found inside a burning home on Military Drive in Flour Bluff.
Authorities say Cheryl had been shot in the head and Charles likely burned alive in the fire they believe he intentionally set.
Cheryl's family was located last week, but there was no luck finding her husband's family.
The Medical Examiner says the county will cover the costs for a simple burial.
