Officers Forced To Use Taser On Naked Man In Parking Lot

CORPUS CHRISTI -- Police say they were forced to tase a naked man today at the Dollar General on South Staples.

Officers say the man pulled off his clothes and was hitting cars in the store's parking lot when they arrived.

They say because he was suffering a mental episode and likely under the influence of drugs, they had trouble controlling him.

Officers say they tasered the man and took him to the hospital where he was released and transported to a psyche triage.
