CORPUS CHRISTI - A Corpus Christi police officer had to go to a local hospital Wednesday evening after a man he was trying to arrest took a swing at him.
The officer spotted a group of men acting suspiciously in the area of Behman Street in Flour Bluff.
The men ran off when the officer tried to question them.
The officer caught up with one of the suspects but the guy swung at the officer hitting him in the forehead.
The suspect was arrested by the officer who ended up with a slight cut to his head.
Two other suspects got away.
