ODEM - There's still no word on the cause of Sunday morning's propane facility explosion in Odem that woke residents before 6 a.m. Witnesses say flames from the blast went as high as 50 feet in the air.
The explosion happened at J and L Propane Storage in Odem. The explosion caused quite a bit of damage. A propane truck and 6 cars were destroyed.
The heat melted the siding of a house that sits right next to the storage facility. Thankfully, no other homes were damaged.
"You see how hight them trees are. My bedroom window is back over there on that side and I could see the flames above it at the worst part of it," said resident Keith Schumaker.
