WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama speaks to business leaders Wednesday morning amid the debate over how to avoid the fiscal cliff.
Obama also plans to answer questions from members of the Business Roundtable, an association of chief executive officers of leading U.S. companies.
The group has been urging immediate action to prevent huge automatic tax increases and spending cuts in January.
Later, Obama addresses a conference of Native American tribal leaders attending the White House Tribal Nations Summit. Some American Indian and Alaska Native leaders fear the looming cuts in the "fiscal cliff" debate could undermine progress made on tribal issues.
