Low voter turnout is expected today as voters decide the fate of proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution No local races are on the ballot making it more likely that voting numbers will be low on Tuesday. Of the 187,000 registered voters in Nueces County, just 1.94% took part in early voting. Polls are open until 7 p.m.

Man, I am sure glad we have a informative news source that keeps us apprised of the issues on the ballots. Surly the complete lack of information on what this vote is for has nothing to do with low voter turnout. As a product of the information age, who gets all of their information online, the coverage of this vote by KRIS sucks complete ***.
