Nueces County Assistant Chief Deputy to Be Buried

CORPUS CHRISTI -- Funeral mass will be held for Pete Peralta at the Corpus Christi Cathedral at 10 a.m.
Peralta served as a longtime Nueces County Assistant Chief Deputy.
Peralta started working at the sheriff's department back in 1981. He worked his last day on the job December 31st.
He went to the hospital for flu like symptoms on January 3rd and died the next day. He was 54-years old.
