CORPUS CHRISTI - The U.S. Marshals have caught up with the suspect in a rural Nueces County home invasion. 32-year-old Michael Clack was arrested today in San Antonio.
The Nueces Co. Sheriff's Department says the suspect in the case forced his way into the home on County Road 49A on October 20th. An elderly couple and their visiting daughter were asleep inside the home at the time.
The victims described the man as black and wearing all black, including gloves and a ski mask. The suspect was also armed with a handgun. The couple's daughter was confronted as she slept by the man who demanded money, credit cards and everything in her purse. He also demanded the PIN numbers for her bank cards.
The suspect later used the cards at area stores where surveillance videos show a black man driving a light colored sedan.
According to Nueces Co. court records, Clack is from Kingsville.
