CORPUS CHRISTI - There's a new section on the Texas Department of Public Safety's website that features information on 68 cold case murder investigations across the state, along with highlighting the top 12 investigations being handled by Texas Rangers.

Among the top 12 is the 1993 murder of Kathleen Suckley of Corpus Christi. The 29-year-old was found dead in her home by boyfriend Stephen Connor. Both of her young sons were home when she was stabbed multiple times.

The 1988 of David Mills in Corpus Christi is also featured on the website. The 42-year-old was found stabbed to death at Corpus Christi Cathedral during a fight. According to authorities, he was last seen with three Hispanic men before his death. One of the people interviewed about the murder was a white male who left the area soon afterwards.

According to the Department of Public Safety, the cases will be rotated through the top 12 to raise public awareness.

"Cold cases are typically challenging to solve for a variety of reasons, but we want to send a clear message that we are not giving up on these murder victims," said DPS Director Steven McCraw. "Our goal for this webpage - and the investigative efforts supporting it - is to shine a new light on these crimes, so they are not forgotten. We are committed to bringing these ruthless criminals to justice and to bringing some amount of closure to the families involved."

You can submit a tips on the cases through the website or by calling 1-800-346-3243. Callers may remain anonymous.
