NEW ORLEANS - A New Orleans man who killed a local marine has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.
A jury found Melvin Clay guilty of Second Degree Murder and Obstruction of Justice this past December. Clay stabbed Ryan Lekosky to death in the French Quarter after Lekosky and his wife left a military ball in New Orleans in October of 2010.
Clay received life in prison for his murder charge. He will be sentenced on the Obstruction of Justice charge next month.
