Neighbor Stabbed in Argument, Police Tell Suspect to Surrender

CORPUS CHRISTI - An argument between neighbors led to a stabbing and a brief standoff last night at an apartment complex near Del Mar College.

Police say a 22-year-old George Villalon got into an argument with a neighbor and punched the guy in the face.

Villalon then reportedly stabbed the other man in the back with a kitchen knife. While the victim was taken to the hospital, police say Villalon barricaded himself inside an apartment.

Police were able to convince him to surrender and now he's charged with aggravated assault.
