KENNEDY SPACE CENTER -- NASA will remembers the lives lost on all space missions today, which happens to be the 10th anniversary of the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster.
NASA will honor the 17 people who died in the Apollo 1 disaster as well as the Challenger and Columbia explosions.
Administrator Charles Bolden and other officials will hold an observance at the Astronaut Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery.
A wreath-laying ceremony will also take place at the Space Mirror Memorial at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor complex.
