Mutilated Cat Found in South Side Yard

CORPUS CHRISTI- A homeowner off Saratoga Sunday morning made a disturbing discovery in their yard.

The remains of a cat was found in the front yard of a home Sunday morning in the 4400 block of O'Casey Drive, near Saratoga and Weber.

Police say that the cat appeared to be cut in half, with the front of the cat in the yard.

They also say that the cuts appear to be clean, which would be difficult, but not impossible, for a dog or coyote to do.

The cat was taken to be looked at by a veternarian to see if the cuts were made by an animal or by a knife.
