Murder Suspect Surrenders at Kentucky TV Station

KENTUCKY - A man wanted for murder in Lexington, Kentucky turned himself in at one of our sister stations, WLEX, this morning.

Brandon Lamont Bailey, 28, was wanted for the shooting death of Anthony Logan, 22, who was killed December 1 in front of the apartment of Logan's sister. Police say Bailey shot Logan after the two were involved in a fight. A warrant was issued for Bailey the following day.

Bailey walked into the office this morning saying he wanted to surrender. Police were called and arrived shortly after. Bailey said he had a bus ticket to Louisiana and he planned to hide out with family there, but that family members convinced him to turn himself in because he claims he shot Logan in self-defense.
