Murder Suspect in Court for Theft Charge

CORPUS CHRISTI - A man accused of murdering his sister in law back in January entered a not guilty plea in court this morning.

48-year-old Tommy Caughman entered that plea on charges he stole several guns and the victim's car from the family home in Bishop.

The investigation into the killing of Bishop librarian Elizabeth Caughman is still underway. The grand jury has not heard any evidence in the case.

Cuaghman was captured in Wyoming.
