CORPUS CHRISTI- We had a strong cold front (see picture) move through the Coastal Bend this afternoon and bring much cooler air to the region. Temperatures will once again sink to below normal levels the next couple of days before rebounding slowly over the weekend and getting hot next week ahead of yet another cold front. The Wednesday night cold front next week has a decent shot at producing some badly needed rain. We will see. Here is the detailed forecast.
A powerful storm system in the Plaines was producing big winds here yesterday and last night and sent a trailing cold front thru the area this afternoon with much cooler air but very little to no badly needed rainfall. Once the northerly winds settle down behind the front Thursday morning, the winds will be much lighter thru early next week.
It gets windy again behind the cold front this evening and overnight and much cooler with a low of 52.
Thursday we will have a beautiful day with decreasing winds increasing sunshine and considerably cooler with a high of only 76.
