Much Calmer Winds Headed Into The Holiday Weekend

CORPUS CHRISTI- A weak area of upper level low pressure will dominate our weather pattern for the next several days. That means generally light winds (especially at night) and only isolated showers during the day but not enough to spoil outdoor activities for any length of time.

Today will be sunny hot and mainly dry with light winds and a high of 96 and a heat index of 102.

Tonight expect it to be clear calm and almost cool with a low of 72.

Friday the fourth will be mostly sunny with only isolated showers still hot and humid with a high of 95. (Note that all of the limited shower activity will be over before fireworks start Friday evening.)

Saturday will be similar to Friday with only a few showers and a high of 94.
