CORPUS CHRISTI- The cold air that has been in place now for a week is finally in retreat but temperatures are slow to warm-up because of clouds streaming in from the Pacific. The clouds are caused by an upper level low to our southwest which will be moving away from our area Saturday. This is important because it will send a weak front thru the area Saturday morning and clear us out for several days after frontal passage. Yes significant sunshine will return to the area this weekend.
Friday will be noticeably warmer in spite of lots of clouds again and a high near 70 with very light winds.
Friday night will be damp muggy and milder with a low of 57.
Saturday expect only an isolated shower in the morning then decreasing cloudiness with increasing winds and a high of 67.
**temperatures drop back into the 30's Sunday and Monday mornings but most of the area stays above freezing except for maybe the Beeville George West area but sunshine returns in abundance those days with very pleasant conditions.
