CORPUS CHRISTI - A motorcyclist was killed Sunday following a crash on the I-37 curve onto Crosstown. The victim's family has identified him as 60-year-old Rico Pauline.
Police say Pauline was coming around the curve, when he lost control on gravel along the shoulder, hit the side railing and then a road sign. He was thrown from his motorcycle and fell nearly 25 feet off the overpass.
An officer gave him CPR until a medical team arrived and transported him to the hospital. He died shortly thereafter.
Authorities say there was no other vehicle involved.
A viewer called our newsroom and said Pauline was on his way home from a Toys for Tots event.
