Motorcyclist Clipped As Driver Makes Wide Turn

CORPUS CHRISTI - A motorcyclist escaped serious injuries while he was rear-ended by a car making a turn onto Baldwin Avenue this morning.

The rider and the driver of the car were both at a stop light after exiting Crosstown Expressway. Once the light turned green, the woman behind the wheel of the car turn a wide right turn and clipped the motorcycle.

The bike went down, but the rider was wearing a helmet, so he was not injured. The motorcycle has some deep scrapes down the side.

Police gave the driver a ticket for making an unsafe turn.
