Motorcycle Accident Leaves One In Critical Condition

CORPUS CHRISTI - An accident last night left one motorcyclist in critical condition. It happened on Saratoga near Staples. Police say a woman driving a blue mustang was turning into a parking lot when she collided with the motorcycle.

Officers say the man wasn't wearing a helmet and he appeared to have major head injuries. Emergency crews rushed him to the hospital where at last check he was listed in critical condition. Officers gave the woman a ticket for failing to yield the right of way; they say she also could not show proof of insurance.
