UNDATED (AP) - While most of the eastern U.S. is being pelted with rain, some areas are expecting blizzard conditions as the superstorm blows across the region.
More than a dozen counties in West Virginia are under a blizzard warning as high winds and heavy, wet snow moves through the state. Up to 3 feet of snow may fall in the mountains.
In mountainous western Maryland, there's a blizzard warning for sections of Garrett County beginning tonight.
The storm is expected to bring snow to far southeastern Kentucky. A winter storm warning is in effect in Harlan, Letcher and Pike counties through Wednesday morning. Forecasters say snow could accumulate from 4 to 10 inches in high elevations and 1 to 3 inches in lower elevations.
Snow is expected in the higher elevations of Tennessee and in some areas of Ohio.
