CORPUS CHRISTI - Temperatures this afternoon will be a tad warmer than yesterday with a mix of clouds and sun this afternoon with breezy conditions. Highs will range from the mid to upper 80s with some locations out west approaching 90. Winds: SE 15-25 & gusting.
Tonight more clouds will move back over South Texas with winds staying elevated out of the southeast around 10-20 mph will not allow temperatures to cool too much. Lows will only drop into the lower 70s.
An upper level low will continue to push towards our area and draw in moisture from the Gulf and make for muggy and breezy conditions for the next few days. We may begin to squeeze a few showers beginning Thursday, but best rain chances look to be Friday afternoon into Saturday as a frontal boundary approaches the Coastal Bend. The front is weak so a big cool down is not expected, but rain chances do linger all the way into Monday with some rainfall totals above an inch possible.
