ALICE - The Alice Police Department worked with multiple local and federal law enforcement agencies in a pre-Christmas day anti-gang/anti-narcotics initiative that resulted in dozens of arrests.
Officials say more than 60 people were arrested while they executed warrants for charges including: possession of marijuana, driving while intoxicated, child abandonment charges and drug possession.
The Department of Public Safety, Border Patrol, Jim Wells County Sheriff's Department and Bureau of Alocohol, Tobacco and Firearms all made contributions to what authorities call the third phase of Operation Infield Alliance.
