CORPUS CHRISTI- The drying trend continues across South Texas as beneficial rains have left the area. Upper level high pressure will build in from the north reducing rainfall to next to nothing between now and Sunday. Tropical moisture will slowly increase as we will be on the edge of the dry high next Monday-Labor Day and Tuesday.
Tonight expect fair skies with nearly calm winds after midnight and a seasonal low of 75.
Thursday and Friday we will have mostly sunny to sunny skies a gentle afternoon sea breeze humid and hotter with a high Thursday of 96 and 98 on Friday. The heat index will reach near 105 both afternoons.
The tropics continue to be unusually quiet.
