CORPUS CHRISTI- Upper level high pressure will gradually be returning to the area with increasing winds, high heat, little to no rainfall and hazy sunshine. There is no relief in sight over the next 7 plus days. Until the winds increase Wednesday evening temperatures will hit record high levels here in south Texas.
Tonight will be tranquil hazy with patchy inland fog and a low of 73.
Wednesday expect scorching hot temperatures will lots of sunshine a gentle late day sea breeze and a record setting high of 98 (the old record is 96.)
Wednesday night we will have low clouds late a bit more breezy sticky and warmer with a low of 77.
Thursday will be mostly sunny again with furnace -like heat and of 98 once again in spite of more wind.
The heat index will reach 105-111 each afternoon and be dangerous for extended outdoor activities.
