CORPUS CHRISTI - Our weather scenario for South Texas is going to be rather unexciting for the next several days as we have a big dome high pressure and sinking air situated right over the area promoting great beach weather, but very hot temperatures.
Today will be hot and rather windy with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies and an afternoon high around 96. Winds: SSE 15-25 & G
Tonight the winds will lighten up to around 6-12mph and set for a rather tranquil evening with overnight lows falling into the upper 70s to lower 80s along the coastline.
With the high pressure ridge in place, not much change is expected in the long term as the next 7-10 days look to be rain-free. The tropical Atlantic is quiet with only the remnants of Dorian to keep our eyes on for now.
