CORPUS CHRISTI- High pressure is keeping us very hot and dry. The "dry high" weakens a bit Wednesday and Thursday allowing a weak area of low pressure to reside along the Texas coast and produce a few isolated showers. Highs will come down slightly with the increased moisture mid-week then ramp up again by the end of this week.
Tonight will be mainly clear warm and sticky with decreasing winds and a low of 77.
Tuesday expect mainly sunny skies sweltering heat with a little less wind and continued dry with a high of 98.
Tuesday night will be mainly clear and calmer with a low 75.
Wednesday we will have isolated showers in and around mostly sunny skies and hot temperatures with a high of 97.
The heat index will back off from the last couple of days levels but still be in the 104 to 109 range.
