CORPUS CHRISTI - High pressure will be the dominant factor in our forecast for the next several days right on into the weekend and will bring dangerous heat index values around 106-112 with afternoon highs in the upper 90s.
Today will be mostly sunny with a high in the upper 90s around 97 degrees with the winds on the breezy side around 10-20 out of the south.
Tonight we will have partly cloudy conditions with a gentle breeze. Lows will fall into the upper 70s to lower 80s.
A weak frontal boundary will do its best to nudge into our northern counties on Saturday and bring a stray shower or two around Beeville and Three Rivers, but most activity will be confined further north and around the Victoria Crossroads.
T.S. Dorian is losing some strength today and the track has shifted on a more westward track towards the Dominican Republic. We will monitor the progression of this storm closely.
Have a great weekend!
