CORPUS CHRISTI- Our relentless wind and heat have dominated our weather over the last week. The winds will come down beginning tomorrow night and that will allow the temperatures to drop out of the 80' s and into the 70's however the highs will be hotter and reach triple digits over the weekend. The tropics open up next week and we will finally have some needed rain for the area.
Tonight expect fair skies very warm and stuffy with a low of 81.
Wednesday will be windy again but with mostly sunny skies we reach a furnace-like high of 98.
Thursday expect a little less wind but remaining very hot and under mostly sunny skies we will reach a high again of 98.
Expect the heat index to reach between 102 and 109 each afternoon.
