CORPUS CHRISTI -- Corpus Christi Independent School District officials say 39 were onboard a school bus that crashed just after 8 this morning.
None of the children were injured. The driver is also okay.
It happened when the bus was headed westbound on Horne past MacArthur. Officials say a tie rod came loose caused bus to lose control.
The driver took precautions and crashed into a fence on MacArther and Horne.
The kids were transferred onto another bus to get to school. The parents of those children were notified, but no one was transported to the hospital.
