CORPUS CHRISTI - A Flour Bluff mom is furious after she says her 6-year old boy was put on the wrong bus.
April Vasquez says a teacher's aide at Flour Bluff Primary put her son Aiden Salinas on the wrong bus Monday afternoon.
She says her son told the aide that she was putting him on the wrong bus.
Vasquez says even the bus driver told the aide that the youngster wasn't on his route.
The boy ended up on the island and didn't get home until after 6 Monday evening.
Vasquez says, " I spent three hours in agony wondering where my son was, and he was on the island. From here to the island, anything could've happened to him, anybody could have picked him up and they dismissed it as human error."
Vasquez says the school blamed the mistake on the confusion of the first day of school and the rain.
She wants an apology from the teacher's aide and she wants the school district to reprimand the aide.
Vasquez plans to go the Flour Bluff Administration office Tuesday to file a complaint.
