CORPUS CHRISTI - On Friday afternoon McDonald's presented Miller Sophomore Jesus Irigoyen with a check for $1,000 after sinking a half court shot during halftime of the Miller vs Moody Game.
Irigoyen is the first this year to make the shot, McDonald's also donated $1,000 to the high school.
The sophomore told me he didn't know what he was going to do with the money, but he sure was smiling big while holding his check.
McDonald's picks a different school every Tuesday and Friday giving two students one shot from half court. If a student makes it, they win themselves and their school a check for $1,000.
