CORPUS CHRISTI - He's started four straight games at quarterback, but the Hammerheads aren't completely content on letting former Javelina Cory Miles run the show the rest of the season.
They've brought in another signal caller, Desmond Johnson from Clark Atlanta University to compete for the job the rest of the way.
Miles has played in six of the team's nine games, tossing 14 touchdown passes to just 4 interceptions. However, Coach Roy Salas definitely wants to keep his options open. Miles is 2-2 in the last four games, including a five-point road victory over Abilene this past weekend.
