Men Arrested After Jeep Seen Driving Recklessly on Beach

CORPUS CHRISTI - Last night a police officer stopped the driver of a Jeep Wrangler seen driving recklessly and dangerously close to where families were enjoying the beach.

According to police, Brian Keith Atchison, 22, gave the officer someone else's license in an attempt to mislead the officer. As Atchison was being arrested for reckless driving and possession of a false driver's license, another man showed up claiming the Jeep was his.

The officer ran a quick background check on Cory William Brasfield, 28, and found he was wanted on a year-old probation violation for a driving while intoxicated charge in Nueces County.

Police eventually let a friend of Brasfield drive the vehicle away.
