CORPUS CHRISTI - A couple of suspicious men tracked down at the closed Honda dealership on Crosstown Expressway now face charges for stealing air conditioning unit parts.
A witness called 911 around sunset on Sunday to report the two suspects on the property. Police say 45-year-old Raymond Dubberke took off running once he noticed an officer in the area. A second officer was able to get Dubberke in custody. He's charged with theft, tampering with evidence, and evading arrest.
His alleged accomplice, 43-year-old James Murray, is also charged with theft.
Police estimate the damage to the air conditioning units at $25,000.
