McPherson Accused of Stealing Supplies from Bay Area Hospital

CORPUS CHRISTI - Employees at Bay Area Hospital called police early this morning to turn in a woman they claim was stealing medical supplies and drugs from the facility.

Police say 36-year-old Marsha Diane McPherson stole syringes, medical tape, gauze, bandages, scalpels, IV bags and several drugs from a cart by hiding the items in her backpack.

She was arrested for theft and possession of a controlled substance.
